Who controls your information

Information we receive
If you email us, we receive your email address, name and whatever project, business or contact details you choose to include. If you submit the contact request form, we receive the name and/or company name you enter, any email address and telephone number provided, your selected contact method, preferred callback date and time window, and the time zone reported by your browser. Client work may require billing details, correspondence, approvals and agreed account access. If you raise a complaint, cancellation or project confidence claim, we also keep the request, reasons and supporting project communications needed to assess and resolve it. Clicking an email link opens your chosen email application; nothing is sent until you send the message yourself. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Website requests and demonstration forms
Hosting and security providers process technical request information such as IP address, browser details, request time and requested URL to deliver and protect the website. The current application does not load analytics, advertising pixels or session replay. House of Blades and FORNO are demonstrations: their booking and order inputs remain in page memory and are not submitted to SAWICKYYY or a real business. Reloading or leaving the page clears that application state. Use fictional details when trying them.
Why we use information and our lawful bases
We use enquiry and callback details to respond to the contact you request and to take steps at your request before a contract. During a project, we use information to perform the contract, document approvals, deliver the agreed service and administer any guarantee, complaint, cancellation or refund. If you act for an organisation, our legitimate interest is communicating with that organisation and delivering its project. We use billing records to meet legal and tax obligations. Our legitimate interests also include securing services, managing ordinary correspondence, establishing or defending legal claims and resolving disputes; we consider your rights when relying on these interests. We do not sell your details or use this website for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Providers and international processing
Callback details are transmitted through Cloudflare, which hosts the website, and Resend, which delivers the notification email to SAWICKYYY. Relevant information may also be handled by our email, invoicing and professional service providers as needed to operate the business, or disclosed when legally required. Google Fonts is currently used for website typography: your browser requests font files from Google, exposing technical request data such as IP address. See Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Providers may process data outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer is involved, we use an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards and can provide relevant details on request.
How long we retain information
Unsuccessful enquiry and callback correspondence is normally reviewed and deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact unless there is a justified reason to retain it. Contract, approval, guarantee, complaint, cancellation and invoice records are normally retained for up to six years after the relevant tax year or project closure, and longer only where a legal obligation or live dispute requires it. Project access is removed when no longer needed. Provider security logs follow the hosting provider’s retention arrangements; contact us for the arrangements applying to your project.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent applies, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions, and may verify identity proportionately. Contact hello@sawickyyy.co.uk. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ without first contacting us.
Security and project data
We limit access to information to what is needed for the work and use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No online transmission is risk-free. If a client project requires us to process personal data on the client’s behalf, the roles, instructions and safeguards must be agreed separately before that processing begins.
Cookies and changes
Read the Cookie Policy for the local preference used by the notice. This policy may be updated when our processing changes; the revision date below identifies this version.
